Editors’ Notes

Poul Henningsen's 'PH 2/1' table lamp for Louis Poulsen is designed around his pioneering three-shade system, developed to diffuse light while minimising glare. Mouth-blown three-layer opal glass shades cast a soft, primarily downward glow, balanced by the slender metal base.
