It’s impossible to improve on a classic, right? Wrong – if you’re Miuccia Prada. For , the Italian designer has taken inspiration from her own well-stocked archives, remastering the most iconic prints to create new, destined-for-cult-status pieces. With such a wealth of material, the results were never going to disappoint: the infamous banana print, for example, which first debuted in 2011, is back and putting a fresh spin on the perennially chic pleated skirt. Nod to Fashion Week by teaming it with some of Italy’s other great exports – Marni’s prim top-handle bag, Fendi’s cat-eye frames and Gianvito Rossi’s vertiginous heels are the ideal finishing touches.
