IN THE MORNING

I meditate every day…

…because it’s the one change, along with exercise, that has made a real difference to my routine. I do Transcendental Meditation every morning at 6am; my kids need to wake up around 6:30, so it gives me a little time to gather myself. I don’t usually meditate before bed – it’s usually in the afternoon when I’m in the car that I’ll do it again. It really helps to center me.

I exercise to energize…

…and I’m obsessed with hot yoga at CorePower in LA. It feels like a really great workout, plus I get a sweat on – and it’s hard for me to sweat! I follow up with a WelleCo shake every morning, adding a Moon Juice powder (such as Beauty Dust) along with almond butter and my homemade almond milk as a base, and then hemp seeds and frozen blueberries – it’s divine!

After I exercise…

…I always have a hot shower and exfoliate, and I have a cold shower every morning. Then I moisturize my body using my favorite Grown Alchemist cream.

I always use a hyaluronic acid serum…

…it’s non-negotiable. I do like to switch up my moisturizer though and try different things. At the moment I am trying Dr Devgan, Augustinus Bader, AlumierMD and Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream, which is a long-time favorite.

Makeup for me…

…is a combination of my triple threat: Westman Atelier Vital Skin Foundation, Super Loaded Tinted Highlight and Face Trace Contour Stick.

IN THE EVENING

I find facials a spiritual experience…

…and always see Anastasia Achilleos: her methodology is innovative, powerful and super natural. I also use a beauty device at home that makes my skin feel so good and helps with lifting, tightening and brightening.

I love using sheet masks at night…

…particularly Georgia Louise Honey Sheet Masks – they make a real difference to my skin.

If I’m tired but wired…

…a hot bath does the trick. I often take The Nue Co. Sleep Drops, which really help with jet lag, and a cup of chamomile tea. As a last resort, I pop a magnesium supplement, which helps to calm me down.

On my bedside table…

…I have so many books, but I’m currently reading Billion Dollar Whale by Tom Wright and Bradley Hope, about fraud on Wall Street. I also have my five-minute journal, which helps with reflection, but I don’t write it in very regularly.
