Introducing Our 12 Incredible Women Of 2024
We are excited to present NET-A-PORTER’s Incredible Women of 2024. Throughout March, to mark Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, we will be celebrating 12 trailblazers who are starting conversations, transforming their industries and defining the year. Here, we highlight those who made the list…
Across the worlds of music, film, TV, fashion, art, culture, activism and sport, we have chosen 12 women who are making a mark in their arenas, and whose work, talent and impact are shaping 2024. In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, we will be celebrating them in a month-long series throughout March.
They are the actors Ambika Mod, who stars in the TV adaptation of One Day, and Mia Mckenna-Bruce, who bagged a Bafta for her role in the impactful film How To Have Sex; musicians Tyla, Victoria Canal and Grace Carter, whose songs are soundtracking the year; athlete Katarina Johnson-Thompson, who is one to watch at the Olympic Games this summer; Molly Manning Walker, the acclaimed writer-director making her feature debut; model of the moment Alva Claire; activist and journalist Sophia Li, who is driving the climate movement forward; cult author Kiley Reid; curator and art historian Aindrea Emelife, who will helm the Nigerian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale this year; and education campaigner, founder and UN Girls Education Activist & Young Leader Vee Kativhu.
We will be publishing interviews with each of these Incredible Women during the month, speaking to them about their inspiring career highlights and the journeys they have taken to get here, and the hopes and goals they have for the year ahead. We’ll also be discussing the impact they are making right now – and exploring why it is so important. Stay tuned, too, for a very special upcoming celebration that we are hosting for our Incredible Women of 2024.
