With the weather in London becoming increasingly autumnal, the PORTER fashion team has made its peace with the fact that – in the UK at least – summer is coming to an end. The upshot? We can now turn our full attention towards fall – or, more specifically, preparing and perfecting our FW20 closets. For fashion assistant Annie Hertikova, that means finding pieces that combine practicality with polish, which is why she’s eyeing up Alexander McQueen’s sumptuous knitted coat, which landed on site this week.

“As we say goodbye to summer and the weather becomes a bit more unpredictable, I can’t wait to start wearing cozy sweaters and statement coats.
