The workwear update: a neutral suit

Buying back-to-work tailoring is the grown-up equivalent of replenishing your pencil case for a new term. Sharp suiting – much like freshly sharpened pencils – makes us feel on point and ready for anything. But this season, instead of the usual inky navy or jet black, we’re craving something fresher. Step forward, palette-cleansing neutrals by modern-classic labels Burberry, Petar Petrov and Anna Quan, all of whom served up corporate realness that’s a little softer around the edges. Wear your caramel-toned suit with a white shirt or turtleneck top and suede loafers in the office, and for special events, dress it up with a cream cami and a pair of barely there sandals in a pop of color – The Row’s Bare heels in saffron or red are just the job.
