“I travel a lot for work and as soon as I arrive at the hotel, I message my family and friends to update them. But, for keeping track of time, I think watches hold a level of class and sophistication that a phone just can’t compete with. A timepiece gives an outfit something extra that otherwise might be missing, and the two faces of Jaeger-leCoultre’s Reverso watch offers two different looks. If a timepiece is given as a gift, it can also be a way to appreciate time itself and the person who gifted it to you.

“Keeping track of multiple time zones also gives me peace of mind – it’s reassuring that I can easily contact my loved ones no matter where I am in the world. I lived with my sister Chloe while we were growing up, but since we have moved into our own homes, we lead very different lives. The last time I saw her, Chloe gave me three charms, which I wear on a necklace or bracelet whenever I travel. When I’m away from my family, these small things help me feel at home – all of my jewelry and timepieces hold meaning in relation to those I love. I usually buy jewelry or timepieces as gifts for her to mark occasions, such as her moving away or doing something new. Aside from my watch, my day-to-day fine jewelry wardrobe consists of two very special rings which represent my growth and remind me of my loved ones.”

“Keeping track of each other’s schedule is really important to us – when Kacie is traveling, I always check in with her to see how her flight went. When she does fashion week or is on set, we try to video call, too – the calls don’t tend to be long, but it is nice to catch up and feel connected. There is something about a fine timepiece that also shows appreciation for the time before electronics; it’s a reminder of ancestry. The two faces of Jaeger-leCoultre’s Reverso timepiece help me to keep track of the people I care about most, and I think a piece of jewelry or fine watch increases in value based on a person’s connection to it – they become priceless.

“Almost every piece of jewelry I wear has special meaning to me; some hold precious memories and some hold promises I have made to myself. For example, I wear a ring that represents the time I spent in Cornwall and the memories made there with my family, while one of my necklaces symbolizes a promise that I made to myself to become a happier and better version of myself.

“I don’t have a huge jewelry wardrobe, as most of my pieces I wear all the time regardless of whether they go together – I’m more motivated by what they represent than how they look. I do have a little memory chest that contains special pieces I used to wear too, such as a friendship bracelet given to me by Kacie when we were younger – it’s nice to go through this chest occasionally to remind me of how I have become the person I am today and my goals in life.”
