Euphoria
With its glitter-smudged eyeliner, fever-dream cinematography and spectacular soundtrack, Euphoria explodes back on to screens for its long-awaited third season this spring. Fast-forward five years and the usual motley crew are navigating life after college. We find troubled lead Rue (Zendaya) knee-deep in dodgy deals in Mexico; Jules (Hunter Schafer) in art school and newlyweds Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) cosplaying as a functional suburban family. Beef
The first season of Lee Sung Jin’s Beef went completely viral, sweeping the board at awards season and cementing its status as a true talking-point TV show. The stakes are high for season 2, which returns with a new cast and premise. This time to the waspy world of country clubs and picket fences, where a young couple (Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny) witness a sinister argument between an older couple (Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan) – and use the recording to their advantage. Margo’s Got Money Troubles
Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman and Michelle Pfeiffer headline the stellar cast of this bold new TV-adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s novel – brought to life by Big Little Lies’ David. E. Kelley. The show follows college dropout and aspiring writer Margo (Elle Fanning), as she grapples with single motherhood and a piling mountain of bills. Thanks to some unlikely guidance from her ex-wrestler father (Nick Offerman) and eccentric mother (Michelle Pfeiffer), Margo goes to any length she can to stay afloat. On Apple TV from April 15
Something Very Bad is Going to Happen
All eyes are on this new show: the Duffer Brothers’ first project since Stranger Things. Expect an unsettling, psychological horror, with all the twists and turns of Carrie or Rosemary’s Baby. Camila Morrone, the breakout star of The Night Manager is sublime as a bride on the brink whose creeping paranoia begins to blur the line between pre-wedding nerves and something far darker. Rivals
Sex, scandal and snobbery…it's all here in Rivals, the titillating TV show based on Jilly Cooper’s best-selling “bonkbuster” of the same name. Season two returns to Rutshire – where tensions are high following the fallout of season one. Will Taggie (Bella Maclean) and Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell) make it official? The Testaments
The long-awaited dystopian successor to The Handmaid’s Tale is finally here. Indeed, The Testaments (based on Margaret Atwood’s bestselling tome) dives back into the hellscape that is Gilead, 15 years later. It follows the next generation of handmaids, led by Agnes, daughter of June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) – played by award-winning newcomer Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another) – as she defies indoctrination, incites rebellion and upends Aunt Lydia’s regime. As ever, the teaser promises a politically poignant, talking-point explosion of a show. On Hulu from April 15
Bridgerton
Now in its fourth season, this blockbuster period drama shows no signs of slowing down. Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) takes the spotlight as he finally steps out of his siblings’ shadows to forge his own path. With the mysterious arrival of Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha) – a masked debutante with a quietly defiant spark – Benedict is captivated in a way he never expected.
