OTZI

Founded by Otis Ingrams in Norfolk in 2019, OTZI crafts furniture from vegetable-tanned leather, native hardwoods and natural linen. The studio takes its name from the prehistoric mummy discovered wearing leather accessories made using techniques still practiced today. Every piece is handcrafted in its workshop, from baskets to daybeds and easy chairs, using leather sourced predominantly from tanneries in the UK, Italy and Spain. Designed to soften and develop a rich patina over time, each piece becomes more distinctive with use.
