Women for Women International supports women who live in some of the world's most dangerous places – where there has been an outbreak of war or violence. Women joining the year-long training program learn how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their community. How it works
Meet your new sister
When you Sponsor a Sister, you will receive a welcome pack in the post, introducing you to your new sister. Your pack will contain information about your sister and her life, a photograph of her if she chooses to share one, and details about the country she is from.
Quarterly updates
As your sister proceeds through the training program, Women for Women International will send you quarterly updates via email about her progress and what she has been learning.
Letter-writing
Form a friendship that transcends continents by writing messages of support and encouragement to your sister via your online-supporter area. The women the charity serves deeply value this connection and treasure these words – for some, these messages can be an emotional lifeline.
