“This year, I’ll be celebrating the holidays with my family; my husband, children and I might even visit my dad and brother in Massachusetts. It will be exciting for my children to fly on a plane again – and go on an adventure – but, mostly, to reconnect with loved ones. Family is everything to me. In terms of my holiday style, I plan on sticking to the essentials: a timeless silk slip dress and tailored suiting – ideally by The Row, whose enduring pieces fit my tall frame really well – finished with a few diamond jewels and a laid-back beauty look. But skincare will be my main priority. I adore Augustinus Bader products; they keep my skin beautifully hydrated, even when the temperate dips. I love quiet opulence and the holidays are a perfect time to take this aesthetic up a notch. I’m secretly hoping that Santa Claus will bring me Sophie Bille Brahe’s ‘Petite Croissant de Lune’ gold diamond earring – I’ve been dreaming about it all year!” @tylynnnguyen

“We all missed out on the Christmas-party season last year, so I think I’ll be going for it with my outfits to make up for that. I want to celebrate with close friends and the people I love! I enjoy a big party and the chance to get super-dressed-up, but I also imagine I’ll be spending a lot of evenings in the pub. So far this year, I feel like I’ve worn a lot of loose-fitting things 24/7: super-baggy jeans, wide-leg army pants and sneakers. But, recently, I’ve been gravitating towards miniskirts styled with tights and mules. Ganni and Rejina Pyo are two of my favorite labels at the moment. I love how relaxed and comfortable their clothes are, while still feeling feminine and fun.” @oliviadeano

I find tulle and hints of satin really enchanting this time of year – maybe their translucency and draping reminds me of a gift waiting to be unwrapped

“I don’t know why the holiday season makes me want to dress in such a risqué way, but it really does. Hosiery and lingerie come into their own during party season: lace and silk slips from La Perla and lace floral tights by Wolford form the base layer for my lazy-sexy holiday look. I elevate my occasionwear by adding accessories; the focus is always on these fun additions, rather than my clothes themselves. That said, I do have my eye on Madga Butrym’s amazing reversible shearling coat, which I plan to wear [on the] ivory side out. This season, I’ll style my after-dark look with Manolo Blahnik mules, talismanic jewels from Alighieri and Gucci’s amazing tulle gloves. I find tulle and hints of satin really enchanting this time of year – maybe their translucency and draping reminds me of a gift waiting to be unwrapped. I want to spend the entire holiday season nestled in my marital home, flirting with my wife, who will no doubt be burning Diptyque’s Tubéreuse candles, while I have D.S. & Durga’s Radio Bombay one going in the other room, its heady warmth smoldering in the icy air. Parties are nice but, to me, the holidays are all about celebrating love and the comfort that it brings.” @object.blue

“Last year, my holiday style was all about comfort, so, this year, I can’t wait to finally dress up in beautiful slip dresses, minimal makeup (clean skin with a red lip) and simple yet romantic jewelry. I prefer minimalism over glitz and glamour, so I will be leaning towards open-back dresses and interesting silhouettes, while experimenting with playful tights and knitwear and going a bit bold with my choice of accessories. I love Khaite for sultry, romantic dresses and knits – and you can always count on Paco Rabanne for incredible party dresses and accessories that are perfect for holiday-season dressing. For a more casual vibe, I always turn to Loewe, Proenza Schouler, The Row, Totême, Peter Do and Acne Studios. I can’t wait to celebrate with as many friends and family as possible, with cheese plates and wine galore, to make up for the past year and a half. It will be wonderful to have everyone together again – feasting, dancing and really savoring each other’s company.” @christietyler

“I’ll be living in cozy sweaters and tailored pants this holiday season. The only thing that really excites me about winter weather is cocooning in comfy, oversized knits. If I had to choose, I’d say my all-time favorite designers for great winter pieces are The Row, Loewe, Loro Piana and Comme des Garçons. I also really love hibernating in crisp cotton pajamas, with a heady Buly 1803 candle burning away. I love hosting, so it feels very natural for this season’s holiday celebrations to take place at my home in New York with family, friends and all the people I love. Before a big gathering, I like to spend the whole day cooking – so by the time my guests arrive, the house will smell of all sorts of delicious things.” @lailacooks

This holiday season, I’m doing bold party looks – think animal print, sparkles and vegan leather. I feel the need to make up for lost time

“This holiday season, I’m doing bold party looks – think animal print, sparkles and vegan leather. I feel the need to make up for lost time. Some brands I’m looking to introduce into my wardrobe are Rotate Birger Christensen and Retrofête for some sexy, fun, flirty party dresses. I’ve even decided to expand my shoe selection beyond just white Air Force 1s, which I’ve been wearing with every outfit for the past three years. I’ve had my eye on some Miu Miu Mary Janes for months. In fact, they might be my gift-to-self this Christmas. I’m very minimalist when it comes to makeup day to day, but I’m also rediscovering the power of eyeshadow and a black liner. I got a Charlotte Tilbury palette and dusted off my brushes, giving them the life they deserve. Since it’s a four-shadow palette, it’s low-maintenance and gives a few shades of shimmer on the eyes. Through learning to socialize again, I’ve really found myself enjoying smaller, intimate gatherings, as opposed to massive parties. I’m so excited to be able to do Christmas as a whole family this year – and then I’ll be going to Spain for New Year’s Eve with a small group. I can’t wait to be overdressed for it all!” @marybethbarone
