Styled with a shirt or a slouchy sweater, white jeans deliver an instant wardrobe refresh

We’re a firm believer in white denim all year round, but spring is often when it feels freshest. As the days get longer and we shed our winter layers, a pair of bright white jeans are the perfect way to reset your wardrobe for the season ahead. The best part? They’re just as versatile as classic blue or black washes, so you don’t have to think about styling them any differently than you would your favorite indigo pair. It’s worth remembering, though, that wearing white denim does come with some level of risk. Accidental coffee spills, sticky toddler hands and grubby seats on the subway mean stain remover is essential for keeping your jeans in pristine condition.

In terms of shapes, straight-leg styles are a failsafe choice – The Row’s cropped ‘Lesley’ jeans are perfect for warmer days while Citizens of Humanity’s ‘Annina’ pair from our NET SUSTAIN edit come in a classic full-length. Go tonal by styling with a crisp white shirt, then layer with a beige or olive-toned trench and flats. If you prefer wide-leg silhouettes, look to styles by Frame and Agolde. This pair from the latter brand’s collaboration with New York label Maria McManus were first seen on the spring/summer 2026 runway and look especially chic styled with leather jackets or blazers.

For something a touch more directional, try Alaïa’s barrel-leg jeans – their distinctive horseshoe shape will add a unique point of difference to even your most casual outfits. Balance the proportions with a close-fitting tank and kitten heels. Alternatively, try Mother’s ‘Patch Pocket Maven Ankle’ jeans, which have an easy ’70s feel that’s perfect for low-key weekends.
