For Marie-Laure Cérède, Cartier's creative director of watchmaking, design comes before anything else at the house - it's that approach which makes its pieces such collectable treasures. Sitting somewhere between a horology and jewelry, this 'Panthère' timepiece has an elongated bracelet, which wraps around your wrist twice. It's crafted from 18-karat gold and set with 52 pyramid-shaped spinels, which match the geometric lacquered spots on the panther's head. Sitting below its glinting tsavorite eyes is a gold-tone dial set with signature blued steel sword-shaped hands and a halo of 40 brilliant-cut diamonds.
All Cartier watches still within the initial 2-year warranty period under the original International Limited Warranty will be eligible to benefit from a 6-year extension, for a total of 8 years warranty.
